Your Opinion is Important to Me – Animal Adventure Site
Hi all!
I’m currently working on my children’s book site and would love to get some help from all of you. Please look over the site (keeping in mind it’s a work in progress) and let me know what you think so far.
Tell me if there are any games or activities that you would like to see or if you have any suggestions for good charities related to children’s welfare or the natural world.
I’m open to all honest opinions and comments, so please don’t be shy!
Do You Write for Ezine (or similar)?
I have been adding ezine articles every now and then as a way to get a few more readers and to provide some useful information about crafts.
My latest article is about kirigami : http://ezinearticles.com/?Simple-Kirigami-Patterns-for-Beginners-and-Children&id=6917098
Have any of you written ezine (or similar) articles? How many of you have positive results from writing articles and how many think it’s not worth doing?
Creative App That Anyone Can Play With
I’ve recently discovered a SUPER FUN app that connects different people and allows you to let your imaginations go wild while drawing.
It’s essentially Pictionary, which I absolutely love!
Here are some examples of my drawings:
If you are interested in this game, just look for “Draw Something” and enjoy! They have a free version and a cheapie paid version. The best part about this game is that you get to collect coins from each game you get correct and then use those coins to buy colours or other benefits -not real money like other games that get you to buy extras.
One Good Thing a Day – Project Day 90 – Hiking Photos and a Happy Miho
Last week I went hiking for the first time after a very long time and it was exactly what I needed. I was so happy and relaxed that I felt like a kid again!

Pinterest – Have you Tried it Yet?
I took a look at Pinterest before all of the marketers started to take over and really liked it. Visually stimulating and it’s one of those sites that you can quickly get lost in…… and waste endless hours just pinning and re-pinning things to your “boards”.
For those of you who have not experienced Pinterest, I recommend doing it once because there are actually many different free tutorials available with step-by-step instructions and photos. Some of them are stunning!

I’ve posted and re-pinned some great crafty tutorials that I think all of you would just love –take a look!
How to: Simple (and adorable) Easter Gift Tags
1 – Simply print out the egg shapes posted below and glue (or tape) the large ones on colourful heavy card stock.
2 – Punch a hole out at the top and loop some string. Using the small egg shapes, cut them out of colourful/textured or decorative paper and arrange them however you like at the bottom of the large egg shape. (I used my scrap Japanese washi). This will allow space to write on the tag but if you require more room, simply use the back of the tag instead.
3 – Attach the tags on Easter gifts, baskets or even on bouquets of spring flowers. You can also make a few of them and turn them into a cute Easter mobile!
